The Good News

I can't believe I forgot to note this. Even in my own notes I forgot to write this down for some reason. I spoke with one of my DRs this morning and she said that I am taking insulin injections only because I am pregnant and needs to be under control for the baby or it can slow his maturity. She said I likely won't need any insulin at all when I'm not pregnant. During pregnancy they want your blood/sugar below 120 after meals, but she said when you're not pregnant under 140 is okay too. She said if I am actually diabetic outside of pregnancy it can probably be controlled with exercise and diet or at worst probably just pills. She thinks I'll be fine after the baby is born. I hope she's right! Either way, the news was good.

We've been thinking about you and hoping for the best. I know this is a rough time but you are strong and will get through it. Happy Thanksgiving!
