Johnny's nurse today told us we are in the home stretch now! He is doing excellent! He is nippling all of his feedings now (no more feeding tube) and is up to 35ccs each feeding but he is taking closer to 40ccs. He now wieghs 3 lbs. and 14.8 oz. When he gets to 4 lbs (Remember he was 3 lbs. and 13.2 oz. just yesterday) he gets to come out of the Isolette box. If he can continue to maintain his body temperature and gain weight for a few days outside the box, he gets to come home! His feeding tube was removed today! This is SO EXCITING! We are so proud of him!
