Movie Night

The above picture is a previous failed attempt at movie night.

Last night we watched the movie Beaches.

Occasionally we have "movie night" where we all attempt to watch a movie as a family. It's a night everyone loves. Except for me, I always dread it. There's too much talking or fighting or snoring. Usually someone or all of them fall asleep or they end up arguing about something. I've never been much of a movie fan any how. So it's all boring to me most of the time. But last night was an entirely different experience. The kids were well-behaved for the most part, everyone stayed awake and actually watched the movie! It was a pretty good movie too.

There's just something about Bette Midler, I guess.

Any flick that can hold both of my kids' attention for that long is impressive to me!
