Christmas 2008

Christmas Eve we went to a party at John's Mom's house. Grandpa Ron didn't play Santa this year and Grandpa Eric and Michelle didn't make it before we left. We gave Uncle Bob a ride back to Eric's when we left though, and Eric came out to say "Hi" and hand us a bag full of gifts. John got an Air Hogs helicopter and airplane from his Mom and Ron. I got a stocking full of miscellaneous stuff, John did too, everyone there did. The kids made off with all kinds of things, I don't even know everything they got. Uncle Bob got John a new dress-shirt and he got a sundae set for the both of us. "Maw" got us two cozy bath sheets. They call bath towels "sheets" when they're made especially large for big people. Johnny got lots of cute little things too.

Back at our house Christmas morning, Santa filled the children's stockings full of fun toys, Grandma got everything she asked for for Christmas, Mommy got the coolest gifts of all, and Daddy got some crap he's happy with anyways. We got Grandma Diana some Sea Island Cotton hand soap from Bath & Body Works, a new Solitaire hand-held game, some aloe socks from Bath & Body Works also and some shower poufs. Those were the things that she asked us to get her. Daddy got some hot sauces, screen cleaner for his laptop, Warm Vanilla Sugar body wash, Jasmine Vanilla shower/bath, Jasmine Vanilla massage oil, a glove-box-umbrella, to both of us- three more bath sheets from my Mom, Ace Combat 3 or some Xbox game he asked for. Johnny got a few clothing pieces and some toys. The girls got a bunch of toys, and some clothes, and some books. Wiggles didn't get anything but pushed out of the way a lot. John got me the massage cushion I've always wanted, but I haven't figured out where to put it. He also got me the new iPod Touch, that's right I said the NEW iPOD TOUCH! I also got a boombox with iPod docking station from him! W00T!

My family still hasn't emailed me any pictures they took at our party as promised. Here's the pictures I have, in random order:









And here is a video of Grandma "Maw" singing to my little Johnny (John E.). This video is especially special because my husband's Uncle John died a few weeks ago and, for those who don't know, "Maw" is Uncle John's Mom. Maw is known also as "Ginger" as a singer.
