Coca Cola's Newest SCAM

Coca Cola has a program called My Coke Rewards.
You can enter codes found on their various Coke products on the website www.mycokerewards.com for Rewards Points.
With the points you can then chose to purchase things from the choices they offer you.

We purchase a lot of Coke products here and all of our MyCokeRewards points have come from 12 packs of Coca Cola products.
12 pack product codes are worth 10 rewards points on the website.

We've been unable to enter more than 10 codes per day. That means no more than 100 points per day for us. Yes, there's been a few days that I have had more than 10 codes worth 10 points each to enter from our purchases.

Today, I got an email from My Coke Rewards with the subject "enter more codes per day". Cool! I'm thinking this is good, no more stupid limits. Now I can enter all my points in one sitting, right?

WRONG!

I open this email to read the following NEW rules beginning February 16th.
"The 10 code entries-per-day limit is gone. Now you can enter your codes when you want — up to 120 points per week."

Now I can only enter 12 codes PER WEEK!

How is this an improvement? Something to celebrate?!

It's not. Obviously it's another ploy by the Coca Cola company to make sure no one else can purchase anything of reasonable value with their collected Coca Cola codes for rewards/points by the end of their promotion.

I guess I'll be switching back to Pepsi now. Because, yes, my taste buds are driven by promotions. Isn't that neat!?

That was low, Coke. Just LOW.
