For the Record

::Intro: Rambling::
Tomorrow is the BIG day (or early Monday morning, technically today). My husband's ex-wife intends to sign papers giving him joint custody. I don't know what, if anything, will come of that, and that's all I really can say right now. It's much better than the current parenting plan though. Hopefully she doesn't change her mind over night. There's a lot at stake tomorrow. I'm really nervous about it all. I took a baby dose of Prozac.

We're (mainly me) thinking about ditching our current easter project and painting some store-bought wooden eggs instead. No final decision yet. My kitchen table is a mess though and it's getting to be more trouble than it's worth.

Today was busy. We had to get groceries first thing in the morning. That kept us busy until lunch time. We went to take some things back to the pet stores and saw a guy react in a hilarious way when he was startled by a snake on an employee's shoulder. A kitten was loving on the kids and we all ended up with sneezing fits throughout the day. My ears still feel tickled and itchy, and my throat too. One of the pet stores wouldn't take returns. Their receipts say "No refunds. All sales final." I won't be shopping there any more. I took the kids for slices of pizza and decided the pizza buffet would be better. Lil S didn't eat though, go figure. There was a carnival in the parking lot. All my cash-on-hand ended up being spent on carnival ride tickets and Lil S rode a roller coaster for her first time! It was called the Coney Island Cyclone. She loved it! And went a 2nd time too.

After that we went to the grocery store, Big Lots, and Saver's. We got some drinks and toiletries at Big Lots and browsed Saver's but found nothing worth buying. I haven't found anything to buy at Saver's the last 4-5 times I've been there. Lame. Johnny stayed home with Grandma today.

Last night we watched the Kid's Choice Awards 2009, also known as KCA 2009. It was cool. I missed the part where George Lopez won, but the kids tell me he did win. I took a shower part of the time it was on, so I missed a few parts. I saw Miley Cyrus win though. That was so cute. She seems so sweet. I hope she stays that way.

I am going to attempt to sleep now. I sure hope it works. I feel a little short-of-breath. Nerves!
