So Much Going On

The last few days were filled with events. My short term memory is horrible so I can't remember everything that has happened. What I can think of is that today was Dragon Day which is field day at my kids' elementary school. Big S won an award for some type of ball game.

Wednesday night Seneca and her best friend Kaylee had their first sleepover here. My husband is out of town and I had to take Kaylee's mom's boyfriend (Mark) to a DR appointment early the next morning so it worked out. They both had a good time.

Big S and I hung out this evening while Seneca and Kaylee went shopping with Kaylee's grandma Sally. They went to WalMart and we went to the Multigenerational Recreation Center to do rock climbing but when we got there we found out that rock climbing was only available certain days and hours and today was not one of those days. So we went to Skymania instead and bounced around for half an hour. Then we went to the Q'mall Indoor Swap Meet and got suckered into buying some stuff at Avon there.

I've been to Michael's craft store a few times in the last two days and even took Johnny with me for one of the trips. Big S has a school project in which she has to create a 3D insect (hers is a butterfly) and can not purchase a kit from a store. She also has to accurately portray things like the 6 legs, 2 eyes, antennae, abdomen, thorax, head, proboscis, and 2 sets of wings. It's a lot of work and expense.

Wow, it just hit me than I am really tired!

Last night we rented Bedtime Stories and watched that. The girls both fell asleep before it was over, but it was a good movie. I enjoyed it. Tonight Seneca and I rented Bolt and we plan to watch it in a bit.

I've gotten so far behind on my blog that it feels overwhelming to catch up with all the news at this point! I don't even know where to begin. I can't even try right now. Seneca won't stop talking to me and I can't concentrate anymore!! lol
