Now That It's COLD!

Of course, now that it's going to be cold outside, the Doctor says I can have "wheelchair rides" and go outside for a little while each day. Haha. I've been in the same room for 16 days with nice weather.

I saw one of the Doctors tonight. My hubby was here too, but there wasn't much said. Really, I can't think of any new news from the conversation.

It's time to take my next blood/sugar reading. That means the nurse should be in here any minute now and they usually hook me up to the fetal monitor about this time too. So, I'll have to lay here, unable to reach anything but the remote for at least an hour.

If I can think of anything to post about I'll post more later. I hope I think of something because I am pretty bored. Not much excitement today.

Here's a thought: I've been here for going on 17 days now. The average birth means that a woman is in the hospital 2-3 days. I was just thinking: How many women have come and gone with their babies since I've been here? I bet at least 40, that's probably a low guess too. I'm so jealous! At the same time though, it would be better to be able to take little Johnny home when he's born rather than have to leave him here. He is estimated to weigh about 4 lbs. by now, so that's really great! I just want him to come home with me though, and in order for that to happen, we need a few more weeks I think.

We'll keep on keepin' on until the Doctors say we can't!
