Our little Gizmo puppy is being re-homed today. Grandma Zee is going to keep her. I'm glad she gets to stay in the family, and a little sad she doesn't get to stay a part of ours. Although she is little and her bites aren't going to kill anyone, the fact is she bites and she is just not very nice. I'm sure she was a sweetie until the stupid shelter spayed her. That's why I won't have my puppy spayed. It will be nice that we can still visit Gizmo from time to time. It's just too dangerous to keep her around with a newborn coming home sometime within the next few weeks or months. I can't stand to think what she could do to my baby boy if his little hands snagged her.
Daddy and the kids are wanting to keep a puppy. I'm thinking that maybe we could, but at the same time something is telling me not to. I keep thinking those puppies are going to get too big. I also think about how much trouble it is to have two dogs. One would be so much easier, especially with a newborn baby around. Plus, if we don't keep any puppies, we can always get another dog later on down the road. Instead of having the same kind of dogs, maybe we could get a different breed of dog. Then again I also realize that the puppies might stay small enough and that we might fall in love with one, etc. However, I think they want a boy dog, and I just don't know about that. I think I would be happier with just Wiggles for the moment. I don't think Wiggles needs a companion dog either, I think she will love being the only one. She's an awesome dog! I totally miss her!
