Tonight I finally got my daughter's loose tooth out. It was all crooked and crazy looking. It was starting to block the adult tooth trying to come in next to it. It looked so bad! I couldn't take it any more. So I sat down with her and talked to her long enough to gain her trust in me to let me touch it and and I used a wet wash cloth to grab a hold of it and just sort of held on to while having a conversation with her and waited for her to talk and fidget like kids do until it just came out. It was a pretty cool bonding moment too. She was so happy when it came out! It was bleeding more than I had anticipated, but it didn't seem to bother her any. It hadn't bled at all while we were wiggling it. Her teacher is going to be happy too, it was grossing her out, lol. She kept begging her to pull it out at the conference we had. My daughter is the tooth fairy. Or at least one of them. Did anyone else know this? I wonder if she was supposed to tell me all this secret stuff? :)
