Keeping Appointments

I had my dentist appointment today. I wasn't feeling well, but I managed to get there anyways. I've been wanting a cleaning for a long time! My teeth feel nice! I do have a few cavities. Okay, more than a few. There are 3 in one area that they would like to fill first and even after insurance coverage just for those 3 will cost us $195 out-of-pocket. Then there's like 3 or 4 more things to do in my mouth after that. I don't know when we'll have that to spare so that I can get the fillings done?

$195 seems awfully high after insurance too. Insurance can sometimes be such a scam, but then I think about Johnny's NICU bills and my hospital stay and I realize how screwed we would be if we didn't have coverage for that stuff!

Speaking of Johnny, he's been coughing and having some goop in his eyes and since he's a preemie we called the DR and they asked us to bring him in. They wanted to make sure it wasn't RSV or Pneumonia. They think he'll be fine. They also weighed and measured him. He's still 18 1/4 inches and he now weighs 4 lbs., 12 oz. He's really packing it on, isn't he!?

On the way home from his DR we decided to stop by and see my sister and her hubby who treated us to a pizza for no other reason than show some brotherly love, I guess. It was really super delicious pizza too!

Of course on the way home Johnny was getting very hungry, and somewhere in my mind I was thinking "Gee, we have pizza, maybe my mom will feed the baby for me while I eat some pizza." But as soon as we set the pizza down, my mom had grabbed the first piece and vanished, I should have known. So I got stuck feeding the baby and watching everyone else eat this delicious smelling pizza until hubby was done having his second plateful of pizza and finally took the baby for me. I reheated some of that almost hour old pizza and enjoyed it!

It really was good pizza from Jesse's pizza. It was a Pepperoni. I still like Sophia's better though. I was told Jesse's doesn't have beef and that they're sausage is flat (not in a ball -like beef). So those are two things that aren't very pleasing to me about that parlor. You know, Villa Pizza is really good too!
