Meeting SpongeBob SquarePants

Tonight we met SpongeBob SquarePants!

Daddy was mad-dogging poor SpongeBob all night. I don't know why. Eventually SpongeBob put his dukes up with Daddy. Then Daddy laughed at SpongeBob's short arms.

My 7 year old kept "doink-ing" SpongeBob's nose. She kept pulling it, yanking it, flipping it, I think she even tried to hang from it. It kept making his eyes bug-out too.

At first my 4 year old was scared to get her picture taken with him and I had hold to hold her up by him. She just wanted to see him not get close, lol.

The girls also got their faces painted, got cotton candy and got to jump in one of those air trampoline jumper things. The best part, it was all indoors! Oh there were also juice and cookies and goldfish crackers and all kinds of little giveaway promotional items like a band-aid dispenser, paperweight, paper-clips, coloring books, activity books, pens, pencils, the kids got a few bags of stuff.

Then they had a drawing for prizes too. My 7 year old had filled out a prize ticket and she was the first winner called! She won a deck of cards with the Carnival Cruise Lines logo adorning each card. It was fun. I didn't even know she had entered the drawing so I was so surprised when they called her name! Oh Elmo was there too, but by the time we could actually go to get pictures with him he must have gone on break because we couldn't find him.

We took videos if the girls getting their faces painted but I'm not ready to upload them yet. The 7 year old got a rainbow on one cheek and a heart on the other. The 4 year old got a butterfly on one cheek and later decided that she wanted another painting on the other cheek but we never made it back over there. She was pretty upset about it too. Oh well. They had a lot of fun. Especially my 7 year old, she had a really good time and actually won a prize too. That's really exciting for her because she usually has bad luck every time we go any where! So for her to have such a good time and win something is like a HUGE deal! She actually had good luck!
