What a long day!

And it isn't even over yet!

We went to caucus for Obama this morning. But Clinton won. Well, in our precinct they tied, but the final overall results for the State left Obama slightly behind.

Then we went out to lunch at Olive Garden and were having a lovely quiet afternoon until some idiots celebrating a birthday sat next to us trying to make the 4 of themselves sound like a party of 25. Irritating! Then we ended getting stomach aches, but that's just because the food was so good and filling.

Then we checked the mail and finally got all the Girl Scout stuff that was supposed to come long before Christmas, actually some of it was supposed to arrive back in August. So we got all that. and I spent about an hour going over that stuff with my Juliette/ Brownie.

After that I took my mom and my 7 year old to the grocery store. I should have known better, I know. I definitely should have left the 7 year old at home, but she is Dragon of the Week. I had a store pharmacy coupon for a $35 store gift card when I fill new prescription there. So I thought: "Cool, I use this coupon and I can get some groceries, w00t!" Well there's a stinking $20 co-pay to fill the prescription! HA. Rip-off, eh? I didn't get it this time, I'll pick it up later.

When we got home, I got to put the groceries away by myself. Fun.

I'm trying to relax now for this comedy show this evening. I'm worried about my legs swelling, the pain in them right now is crappy enough. I'm supposed to be taking aspirin to prevent blood-clots too, but I'm out. I was going to get some tonight, but my gift-card idea failed miserably.

Did I mention my little Johnny is sick and has a bad cough and congestion? Poor little man. And he makes these strange goat noises. I'm going to have to make an audio or video clip of that!

If I wasn't expected to stand up all evening,

I think I'd get trashed tonight! :p
