Doctor Appointments

Johnny on the table at the Children's Lung Specialists office, before getting his last Synagis shot.

Johnny leaving the Children's Lung Specialist after getting last his Synagis Shot.

He's such a trooper! The needle for the RSV shot is thick. Poor little guy. He got 4 shots at his 4 month check-up on Monday and then this shot on Tuesday. His poor little achy thighs!

Lil S also got a banger in her thigh on Monday (and cried), but hey, she gets to start PM Kindergarten after the summer! Lil S and Big S will get to ride the bus home from school together!

Wednesday afternoon I saw my Orthopedic and came to learn that their office will only see you for one body part at a time. Pfft. That will not help me much. My left knee dislocated again last week and I don't have a brace that fits me any more. They took X-rays of my left knee. They said I have Arthritis in that knee and more than likely other places as well. They suggested I get a referral from my General Practitioner to get a DEXA Scan to test for Osteoporosis. I got a prescription for a new knee brace. I already went and got measured for it.

Hubby beat me home, just barely. He got one of the "good" guest parking spots, so I got our assigned spot, yeah! I'm borrowing Grandma Zee's car, for those who didn't know. She's letting me borrow it so I can get to all my (and the kids') Dr. appointments. Anyhow, he came home and cleaned out Chewy's cage (he's our cutie-pie little Blackbear Hamster, and he's not really very little either), filled up his water and food, and.... Put him in the kids' room! They have been wanting him in there for a long time, and they finally got him! I hope that goes well. He was actually in there when we first got him. When we first got him we had rescued him from a teenage boy who had let something attack him, his mom offered him to us. He had bite marks on his back and his foot was all shredded and had bloody bulges on it, next thing we knew he had gotten blood on the wall next to his cage in their room, so we moved him. He's all better now, he's such a cool hamster.

Big S has been feeling sick since she came back from the MF's (Stealing from SJ - Lee Vai & his girlfriends' new abbreviation nick-name - you can guess the worst curse word and you'll be right about what MF stands for.) Sunday night. She went to school on Monday. Tuesday she came home looking so ill though and by dinner time she couldn't even finish eating. She was constipated and said she had a headache and a tummy ache and her throat hurt. She was crying a strange pouting cry. She was really feeling bad, no fever though. We had her drink some water. Kept her home from school on Wednesday and I thought about taking her to Urgent Care. She stayed in bed all day, sleeping! I've never seen her so sick. In a sad way, it's kind of nice because she doesn't want anything and she's sweet and quiet. Anyways I'm thinking she's drinking water and resting, still no fever, hopefully she's getting better. She's still not eating. Now she's gone the entire day without eating! She tells me the MF's girlfriend let her drink coffee last weekend! Smart. She wasn't constipated, she's got diarrhea! She's been going to the bathroom very frequently. I've been watching her the last few hours, she's in my bed, in my spot. She's getting up to go to the bathroom a lot, she goes for a long time and when I ask if she went #2 again she says yes then she drinks a cup of water and goes back to sleep. A few hours ago she went in there and threw up some bile (stomach acid) and had an accident in the process of that and had to shower, which probably didn't help with the fact that she might be starting to get dehydrated.

I need to get Water tomorrow too.

I have an appointment tomorrow with the Ophthalmologist in the late afternoon.

Big S will not be going to school tomorrow even though she's not running a fever.

She may have to go to the Urgent Care if this continues tomorrow. She is going to have to eat too.

I'm not sure if the Urgent Care will have all the necessary equipment to examine her and I don't want to have to pay for an ambulance to transfer her to a hospital.

I called Dr. Klugh's office Wednesday afternoon after my Orthopedic appointment. She had already left for the day so I had them take down a message to give to her Thursday morning when she gets in. I need to know if I should keep or cancel my appointment with my GI Specialist and if I am keeping what procedures if any he is allowed to go ahead with. On Friday when I spoke to her last she said I should hear from someone at UCLA by Tuesday and I haven't been contacted by them yet either, so I pointed that out. No one checked the mail on Wednesday, but she is also supposed to be mailing out all my blood work results and whatever else she thinks UCLA needs. She said she's sending it all to them to, but suggests I bring everything me as well in case they are missing anything because it's 4-5 hours away.

I have a cousin about two hours away (Difster) who says I can crash there if needed. My husband will be in Lake Havasu, AZ. My mom would like to afford to be able to rent me a new vehicle, she would feel better about my safety. I wish I just owned a new vehicle. It would have to be a van or mini-van though - but that's "in my dreams" anyways - every night. I will have to make quite a few trips out there.

Okay so here's what's been happening with me lately- physically:
I am having the hardest time sleeping. I am in so much pain. I can't get comfortable. I have trouble breathing. My back aches so bad and spasms. My muscles cramp up any where and every where. My joints ache, it even feels like my bones hurt. I get bad headaches. My eyes feel thick and glossy. When I wake up I can barely move I am so stiff all over. When I wake up the pain from middle back down to the middle of my thighs is so intense. It's like after I had my section trying to move with no muscles working and in excruciating pain! It's just in slightly different areas and more areas. I don't know which is worse, probably right after the c-section but they gave me drugs then, this time I have nothing!

Side note: When I had my c-section and I was recovering they do this weird test where they come push on your uterus and the first time she did it to me it hurt so bad I screamed louder than I even knew I could "OWE OWE OWE OWE OWE OWE OWE" and anyone that came back to try to do that again I refused it. The nurse said it should not hurt that bad. And then one day after that I got out of the shower and there was blood shooting, literally just squirting, out of my stomach. There was a mysterious hole in my stomach just shooting out blood. It shot out blood all over the gown I had put on, because I didn't realize I was bleeding until after I put my hospital gown after my shower. I called the nurse who brought me a bandage and a clean gown and nothing was ever said about it again. That seems so strange. That's a pretty freakish thing to have happened and I got no explanation about that. Now, months later I bleeding from my rear-end and it's been two months now and I have no explanation on that either. These seem like serious symptoms to me, but I am not getting answers or even urgent responses. Hmm.

Okay I don't know what to do. It's almost 4 AM. Big S is asleep in my spot. I haven't even changed into my nighties yet, let alone had the chance to lay down in bed. My own fault, I made Big S come lay down in here because I wanted to watch her and make sure she was drinking water.

Every time I stand up to refill my water, I am dizzy all the way walking to the kitchen. I literally feel like I am going to legitimately pass-out. Not from being tired either, something else (I think I'm losing to much blood from my bum). I also have felt like I have a cold in my chest all day. Big S and I both have a cough. Then again, Big S always has a cough since she started having regular visits at the MF's house.

Big S just woke up to go to the bathroom, again, and she needs her water refilled and so do I... (brb.. break)

I got up, so of course Wiggles (our dog) is begging me to take her out. We've been putting Wiggles in her crate and locking her up night because if we don't she uses our dining to leave us unwanted surprises while we're sleeping. We also take her out for a walk before we lock her up and lock her up directly after her walk. Usually we do this around 11 PM. The last time she went out, hubby took her, it was about 8:30 PM. Well then he fell asleep around 10:30 PM and Wiggles has been eating and drinking and begging me to take her out. Locking her up would be so cruel because hubby won't be up and taking her out until around 7 AM. I can't take her out, my back is not working right. My bum hole is on fire and walking makes it worse. I just can't lock her up and make her hold it. We have got to get a house. I don't want to rent a house though. We have to find a way to buy a house. Then Wiggles can use a doggy door and go in the backyard whenever she needs too. She really is a good and sweet dog, it's just that she has to go and for some reason with 3 adults here we can't manage to help her when she needs us for that. I love this dog. Screw it, I'm going to take her out, if it kills me, whatever. Oh man I just stood up, this is not going to be easy, for SO many reasons.
