I decided not to go see my GI Specialist today after all. I tried to call to cancel but the line was busy, can you believe it!? It's probably a good thing I didn't go too, because UCLA called to get me registered right about the time I would have been in with the Doc. I now have an ID # for UCLA and they referred me to one of their
Neurosurgeons who I was able to make an appointment with for April 30th. I need to bring my MRI films with me. The Neurosurgeon kind of looks like Barack Obama to me in his picture on
this web page. He certainly seems qualified. Not too long after getting registered, getting my referral, and setting up my appointment, Dr. Klugh (my Endocrinologist) called me to make sure that everything was being handled now. She also said she went ahead and resent all my blood work results and things to me just in case. Which is good because I bet my mail carrier lost it or put it in the wrong box. Either way the first time she sent it, it probably vanished some where in PO (Post Office) land.
