So the prescriptions that UCLA writes at discharge allows for NO refills. Well a few of the prescriptions they gave me are ones that needed to be refilled. Particularly a certain steroid called Dexamethasone. Which I ran out of on Saturday night. I spent all day Sunday in bed in horrible pain! Monday too. Monday I ran out of my blood sugar medication called Glipizide, so I forced myself out of bed and to the pharmacy who made me wait over an hour to tell me that they didn't have enough to fill my entire prescription and wouldn't have more until Wednesday. They gave me a 3 day supply for free. I already missed this evening's dose though. This flap that the surgeons installed inside my nostril is making me insane. I have muscle spasms that are unimaginably painful in varying places. My face and head hurt so bad that I feel like a bus ran into me. I don't have anything to kill the pain. My Primary Care Physician prescribed me the lowest dose of pain killer and I can't tell anything different when I take it.
The girls have a dentist appointment in the late afternoon tomorrow. Check-up and cleaning.
