Our Chihuahua

Our Chihuahua, Roxy, got away last week. Yesterday we got a call that she had been found by animal control. The girls and I went to the Animal Shelter to pick her up. When we got there they said she was on the Officer's truck and should be there soon, but that our Roxy was found deceased. She was hit by a car somewhere very close. She didn't make it. They offered to let me see her, but not the kids. Since it sounded that bad, I didn't want to see her either. They told me they were sure it was her by her description and microchip. Everyone is pretty upset about it.
