Lil S loves to build log cabins with Lincoln Logs. She's very good at it too! She was so proud she took a bunch of photos of one for me because I was in too much pain to get up at that moment. I had to delete a bunch because there were too many. I guess she got a little carried away. Most kids do. Anyways, I saved quite a few good ones for her. I'm sure she would love to share with everyone.
By the way the girls are participating in yet another school fundraiser. This one is for the ticket drawing at the "fall" carnival at their school. Grand prize is $500.00 with a bunch of other prizes being awarded, including other cash prizes. Need not be present to win, but to claim your prize you must present your photo ID. The tickets are $1.00 each. Obviously this one remains for locals, seeing as how you have to go claim your prize if they call you. Ticket purchasers fill out their name and phone number on the entry ticket and keep the other half with the drawing ticket number copied on it.
I'm a little upset with the PTA right now. Yes, we are all members but we are not running the fall carnival. The thing is, we asked for more tickets to sell this weekend because we don't have any more and it's a 3 day weekend (staff development day, district-wide). They won't have any more tickets until Monday! What a waste of a bunch of sales opportunities! Frustrating! ::Sigh::
