My 1st Visit @ Lil S' Gym

I got to come inside Lil S' Gymnastics class along with the other Parents at the Fern Adair Conservatory of the Arts studio! The lighting in there is weird and my camera was not friendly with it so I didn't get very good pictures. I think I got one that looked clear. Lil S needs some help with a cartwheel. She's doing it so crazy that she looks like she twisted her wrist or broke her arm the way she lands. It's dangerous, put it that way. I was seriously scared for her, she just can't seem to get it so if I have time and energy tomorrow, that's something I would like to help her with. She rented Kit Kittredge to watch on Wednesday, so the girls have that on their agenda too. She gave me lots and of hugs and "I love you, Mommy" 's during her class, so sweet, and she did really well aside from the scary cartwheels.

Earlier in the day she was trying to dress up for school and she did so good that I had to take pictures, she just came walking out of the bedroom like she was a true fashion model! So adorable! You see, this week at school the kids are challenged each day to "dress the part" and each day of the week has a different theme. However, the kids in our school district have this Wednesday off of school, this is to help the Teachers have more time to do scheduled Parent/Student/Teacher conferences.

Side Note: My left leg is giving me big troubles right now. Lots of pain in the front of my lower leg and my pinky toe keeps going numb!

Lil S is such a character. We watched Gremlins a few weeks ago. Since then, Lil S has been calling Big S a "mogwai" and :"gremlin" and warning us not to feed her after midnight. Funny... for a 5 year old!

Towards the end of class they put down little mats for the kids to sit on, just like they do in the beginning of class for them to do their stretches. Lil S is extremely focused on being surrounded by the people and things she wants to and another little girl was "taking her spot" that she had earlier in the class. She was hard-pressed to be close to Mrs. Tara, so here is her gearing up to punk this other little girl off of "her" rug. She later decided to take another rug next to another classmate, Megan, she really likes her too!

One final note- today I got a fortune cookie that said that I could prosper in the entertainment business.
