White Pride (Oh My!)

I got this email the other day and I have to put in my two cents. The original email is in PLAIN text my comments are in BOLD/italics:

This is great. I have been wondering about why Whites are Racists, and no other race is. Read, on this doesmake sense...

Michael Richards, better known as Kramer from TVs Seinfeld, does make a good point. This was his defense speech in court after making racial comments in his comedy act. He makes some very interesting points...

This is a lie. Michael Richards DID NOT say these things, and he was never defending himself in court over that situation because there was no suit against him for it.

Someone finally said it... How many are actually paying attention to this?

"There are African Americans, Mexican Americans, Asian Americans, Arab Americans, etc. And then there are just Americans.

Actually they call us "White America"...

You pass me on the street and sneer in my direction. You call me 'White boy,' 'Cracker,' 'Honkey,' 'Whitey,' 'Caveman' .. And that's OK.

Actually, they only do that if you're racist or they are. Maybe you're wearing your KKK logo too large? Or you're driving like an ass...

But when I call you, Nigger, Kike, Towel head, Sand-nigger, Camel Jockey, Beaner, Gook, or Chink ... You call me a racist.

Well, those are racial slurs.. If you're calling people names like that you're racist or stupid.

You say that Whites commit a lot of violence against you.. So why are the ghettos the most dangerous places to live?

Because they're ghettos. What does that have to do with race? You think white people don't live in ghettos?!!?? Do you REALLY think that?

You have the United Negro College Fund. You have Martin Luther King Day. You have Black History Month. You have Cesar Chavez Day. You have Yom Hashoah. You have Ma'uled Al-Nabi. You have the NAACP. You have BET...

Yes, because the way we've always done things doesn't always suit everyone. Martin Luther King Day isn't for black people, that's for all Americans. Civil rights are for everyone. Most Black people HATE black history month. Whites created that to remind people of the way things used to be. No one likes it.

If we had WET (White Entertainment Television), we'd be racists..

Actually, most of TV is white entertainment, that's why there are other options.

If we had a White Pride Day, you would call us racists. If we had White History Month, we'd be racists..

Everyday in school children are taught American history. White history. Perhaps if Whites become an American minority there will be a month to remember what assholes they used to be. The Ku Klux Klan screwed up "White Pride" by committing terroristic acts.

If we had any organization for only whites to 'advance' our, Lives we'd be racists.

Actually we do have many organizations to advance our lives, unfortunately it's called GOVERNMENT, which is predominately white.

We have a Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, a Black Chamber of Commerce, and then we just have the plain Chamber of Commerce. Wonder who pays for that??

All Americans, of all races, pay for the Chamber of Commerce, so why shouldn't it serve ALL Americans?

A white woman could not be in the Miss Black American pageant, but any color can be in the Miss America pageant.

Has a white women tried to enter a Miss Black America pageant? Entry may be acceptable, but pointless. I weigh over 200 lbs, I could enter Miss America, but I don't quite fit the profile do I? Maybe they should call it Skinny Miss America and show their prejudice for overweight America?

If we had a college fund that only gave white students Scholarships. You know we'd be racists.

I'm sure there are Scholarships that are offered to white people only, they probably don't admit it though. Have you researched this at all!? And anyways, when were white people oppressed in America?

There are over 60 openly proclaimed Black Colleges in the US . Yet if there were 'White colleges' That would be a racist college..

What do White People need a College for? Any (non-specific) college will accept a white person without them having to worry about if they're being judged on their race too. That's why there are options, so that other races don't have to worry about RACISM while trying to achieve academically.

In the Million Man March, you believed that you were marching for your race and rights.

Who me?

If we marched for our race and rights, you would call us Racists.

That's not true. Black America of all people believe in Civil Rights for everyone. They might call you ridiculous! Or hypocrites!

You are proud to be black, brown, yellow and orange, and you're not afraid to announce it.

But when we announce our white pride, you call us racist!

Who called you racist? Unless you were with the KKK, you were probably just called an idiot. They don't think you're cool for being white just like you have no appreciation for their heritage. UGH!

You rob us, carjack us, and shoot at us. But, when a white Police officer shoots a black gang member or beats up a black drug-dealer running from the law and posing a threat to society, you call him a racist.

The problem here is that people in power are taking advantage of their position. We have to be sure that people's rights aren't being waived because of their race because this WAS (and sadly sometimes still is) a problem in our society. We're protecting our rights as citizens.

I am proud... But you call me a racist.

Well... It's good to be proud of who you are, but to be specifically proud of your heritage as a White American is essentially to say that you agree with the horrible acts of your predecessors. That IS racist. I'm not even sure I'm proud to be an American, even in today's generation. But really I would be proud to be any race! I'm proud to be alive.

Why is it that only whites can be racists?

Who claimed that black people or other races aren't racist? A lot of them are. With good reason... Unfortunate for my generation. No one ever said only whites can be racist. Racism can stem from any where. Nowadays, if you go by ratios (race population to racist members within that population) there are probably just as many % racist members in each race in America.

There is nothing improper about this E-mail.

Well, there isn't NOW that I've said my PEACE (piece).

Let's see which of you are proud enough to send it on. I sadly don't think many will. That's why we have lost most of OUR RIGHTS in This Country. We won't stand up for ourselves!

BE PROUD TO BE WHITE! It's not a crime yet .... But getting real close!

People who create and forward this (in it's original content) are the reason minorities NEED protection and assistance and special programs. Sending this stuff just proves that Racism is still a big issue in American society. This stuff KILLS my AMERICAN PRIDE. It makes me ashamed of my fellow countrymen. :(

If You ARE Proud to be who you are, why don't you say you're PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN?
