When my aunt Teri graciously purchased my Macbook for me last year she was oh so kind to also include the Apple Care Protection plan, which I HIGHLY recommend adding to your order should you switch to a Mac. My CD combo drive (also known as optical drive) is not functioning properly. I can not burn copies of anything, including my pictures. I can not load software or music, etc.
This afternoon I will be taking my Macbook into an authorized Apple service center here in town and I don't know how long they will be keeping my Macbook for repair or replacement of my optical drive. Therefor, I am leaving a "heads up" here on my blog so no one worries in my absence.
