Intuition or Paranoia?

Every time I spend a day or two doing any more than just a little walking or driving my legs swell up SO bad! My calves look like they're very muscular and fully flexed and it hurts to bend my knees. My husband tried to massage my calves and feet but it hasn't done a thing for them. He told me not to wear socks any more and I explained to him I hadn't worn a pair of socks for DAYS. I can't fit into my socks or shoes, just slip-on shoes, flip-flops, and sandals. The crease indents in my "cankles" were so bad that he thought they were left from a pair of socks, it was just where my ankles are supposed to be though. It seems like my DR said something about I should worry if one side is swollen. Well both are swollen, but my right side is definitely swollen more. It's just my legs too, which is better, because I've heard hands and face swelling are really bad signs. My legs are so uncomfortable though.

Because of this and other symptoms, I'm getting this really strong feeling that I have pre-eclampsia. Not just that I have it, but I think it is either quickly to become severe or already is. I turned in my 2ND (they lost the 1st one) 24 hr urine collection and did my blood test this morning. It will probably be 1-2 weeks before my DR gets the results. I'm really surprised that the high risk center didn't bother with an ultrasound when they're so concerned about testing me for more signs of pre-eclampsia. The baby was measuring small last month so I assumed that would be as serious of a concern for them as it is for me.

I just read a lot of articles and information about the condition and I read how it could go from not having any noticeable signs to not having a live baby within a few hours. I think this has happened to me before, but that it went undiagnosed. I could be wrong, but it just seems to logical.

I don't know if I am having an intuition, or if I am being paranoid!?
