Sunday Bloody Sunday

I needed a new feeling. So I changed my template. I was going for a "Fall" feel. Please let me know what you think of it.

This weekend was pretty interesting. Saturday my hubby had an audition for the band at church. They are really excited to get him going as lead singer in the rotation, from what I gather. We took the children to church with us on Saturday night for a family night of church. It was neat, they learned about Jonah, got to blow bubbles, do activities, eat goldfish crackers, and delicious cookies too.

Saturday night or early Sunday morning my goofy dog went #2 on my carpet, so I locked her on the back patio as a punishment. She chewed through my porch shade and was found scratching at our front door Sunday morning.

Sunday, today, this morning, whatever... I took my youngest daughter out and bought her a bunch of prizes for being so good recently. She got a new pair of Dora sunglasses, a building and tools set including a hard-hat with a built-in work light, a huge make-up set, a beanie hat and really cool matching gloves. Then I treated her to a fun time at McDonald's with a Happy Meal. I was a bit ticked at the McDonald's we went to though. They didn't have any chocolate milk or ranch dressing, two "must haves" for my little one's chicken nugget happy meal. Then we returned home and played with the new stuff for a while. Afterwards I took my oldest daughter out to see The Nightmare Before Christmas in 3D. She thought that was really cool! We had a fun time and ate nachos and had soda and "Dibs" during the movie. My husband spent almost the entire day playing the new Guitar Hero game that he reserved last week to pick up today.

Tomorrow I have to rise early to get ready for my diabetic class.

My legs are still really swollen.

Oh yes, Saturday morning I traded this very nice girl some clothes. She was losing weight, and of course I am gaining. She gave me some very comfortable clothes, and I am happy to have met her. I don't know that the clothes I was able to give her will have done her nearly as much good as her clothes will do for me though.

On the way home from her house on Saturday I almost fell walking from the car to my door. My sandal broke. This isn't the first pair that's done that to me recently either. My feet are so swollen my shoes can't even handle them any more. I don't know what I'm going to do about shoes! All my shoes are WAY too tight and my sandals can't bear my weight or size either. I'm running out of options here. lol

Okay, lots to do this evening still, and it's late, and I need to rise early.
