Our insurance company approved our little preemie, Johnny for the Synagis vaccine (to prevent RSV), which is very expensive and has to be special ordered and all this other crazy footwork. The lung specialists called to to let us know that our insurance approved it and we'd hear from the pharmacy soon. The pharmacy requires payment before they will ship the vaccine to the lung specialists. He's already late on his vaccine and he's now been exposed to the virus. By God's grace some manager there decided to approve some sort of grant for our baby boy to get this shot without charging us for it! The lung specialists called me back and scheduled us in for Monday. Astonishing! The relief I feel is so gracious, I'm sulking in it! God had his hand on my shoulder.
My Grandpa was in the hospital for the past few days with Pneumonia and on oxygen and antibiotics. The DRs and nurses were confident he would recover from it even in his old age and that he would be able to go home once he can get off the oxygen. He was released today and is home with orders to stay indoors and rest and take his antibiotics.
I asked for a lot of prayers for G-pa and LJ over the last few days. When you're super small or old in age, things like RSV and Pneumonia are life-threatening.
Thank you, Jesus.
Thank you for all those who have prayed with me.
